ABOUT OUR CANDLES

Q: What's the difference between soy wax and paraffin candles?

A: Our candles use 100% soy wax, which is made from soybean oil and is renewable, natural, and biodegradable. Soy candles burn cleaner (less soot), last longer (15–20% longer than paraffin), and hold fragrance better. Paraffin is petroleum-based and releases more toxins when burned. If you care about what you're breathing, soy is the better choice.

Q: How long do your candles last?

A: Our standard 230g candles burn for approximately 35–45 hours, depending on how often you burn them and the size of your room. Larger candles obviously last longer. To maximize burn time, trim the wick to ¼ inch and avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time.

Q: Are your candles safe to use?

A: Yes. We use 100% soy wax and natural fragrance concentrates with no lead, phthalates, or synthetic toxins. Our wicks are cotton-core, not lead-core. That said, never leave a burning candle unattended, keep them away from drafts, and ensure the candle is on a heat-resistant surface.

Q: What scents do you offer?

A: Our scent range changes seasonally, but we always stock popular blends like Lavender & Chamomile, Lime Basil & Mandarin, and Rose & Peony. Check the shop for our full current range, or contact us about custom scent blends.

ABOUT WAX MELTS

Q: How do wax melts work?

A: Wax melts are small wax cubes that you place in a wax warmer (electric or tea-light powered). The warmer melts the wax, releasing fragrance into your room. No flame, no wick, no soot, just pure scent. They're safer for homes with children or pets.

Q: How long does a wax melt last?

A: One wax melt typically lasts 8–10 hours of continuous use. A pack of 6 melts can give you 48–60 hours of scent. Once the fragrance fades, simply remove the old wax and replace it with a new melt.

Q: Can I reuse the wax warmer bowl?

A: Yes. Once the wax has cooled, you can peel it out or wipe the bowl clean with a paper towel. Some people use silicone liners in the bowl for easy removal and clean-up.

ABOUT BUNTING, CUSHIONS & TEXTILES

Q: How do I care for your bunting and cushion covers?

A: Most of our bunting and cushion covers can be hand-washed or machine-washed in cold water on a gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry. Always check the care label on your item for specific instructions, as some fabrics may require hand-washing only. Do not bleach or tumble dry.

Q: Can I order custom bunting or cushions?

A: Absolutely! We love custom orders. Get in touch with your design ideas, colors, size, and we'll create something bespoke for you. Turnaround is typically 2–3 weeks depending on complexity.

Q: What fabrics do you use?

A: We select high-quality fabrics that are durable and beautiful. This includes cotton, linen blends, and specialty prints. Each piece is chosen for longevity so your bunting or cushion lasts for years, not months.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Q: How long does shipping take?

A: We process orders within 3–5 business days, then ship via Royal Mail. Standard delivery is 2–3 working days within the UK. Once your order ships, we'll send a tracking number so you can follow your package.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Currently we ship within the UK. For international orders, contact us and we'll provide a quote.

Q: Do you offer free shipping?

A: Yes! Free shipping on orders over £50. Standard shipping on smaller orders is £3.50.

Q: What if my order arrives damaged?

A: Contact us immediately with photos, and we'll replace or refund your item. We take pride in our packaging, but accidents happen. We'll make it right.

Q: Are your products eco-friendly?

A: Yes, as much as we can be. We use soy wax (renewable), natural fragrances, recycled packaging where possible, and quality textiles made to last. We're constantly looking for ways to reduce our environmental footprint.
